Contextualise their research in terms of an underlying philosophy appropriate to the field

Select and justify a research approach, design and methodology that is both ethical and appropriate for the collection and interpretation of data to address a defined research question

Critically evaluate the outcomes of their own and others’ research

Independently conduct a sustained research project and present findings in a thesis
