Description

The learning outcomes for this course are:

Determine and plan to solve a complex and detailed architectural design brief using contextualised conceptual thinking and design realisation strategies

Effectively communicate a design solution using a rationalised selection of media, including drawing and digital media and model-making to showcase process, developmental and presentation skills

Apply and communicate principles of design to create complex buildings

Evaluate multiple perspectives including culture, with particular regard to mātauranga Māori and apply to specific architectural solutions

Integrate interdisciplinary input alongside architectural knowledge of structure and construction, legislation, building science and sustainability to create architectural solutions
