Apply the principles of recovery to clinical scenarios.
Identify strategies to develop, maintain and terminate a therapeutic relationship.
Discuss collaborative practice with people (including Māori), their family or whānau and the multidisciplinary team.
Discuss safe and effective nursing practice for working with people with altered mental health or addiction in acute, chronic and rehabilitation phases.
Describe major drug groups used for treatment of people with mental illness and addiction, and the effects, side effects and considerations in administration of these medications.
